NLP for Business

Enhance Business Communication

Communication is essential for any business regardless of industry and size. Sometimes we get set in our ways of communicating and doing things, and it may not always have the desired outcome. Being flexible and willing to adopt a different approach can help resolve conflicts, achieve goals quicker and improve our relationship significantly. NLP is a great way to enable better self-awareness and learn how to adapt your communication style depending on the person you are communicating with, the situation and media used.

The NLP workshops focus on introducing techniques that can be used in day to day situations and 90% of the workshops are based on hand-on exercises where the participants get to practice and explore the techniques to get familiar and comfortable with them. Our aim is to ensure the participants can put the techniques into practice after the workshop and straight away start to gain from it.

We have split the NLP workshop into modules focusing on different challenges and requirements your business may have. We can also customize a training program to fit your business needs and we would be happy to talk to you about it.

The minimum number of participants is 6 and the maximum number is 10 to ensure the participants get the most of out the workshops. The workshops are delivered face to face and assumed to take place at your business premises.

Course takes approx. 6 hours. Price: £425 for up to 10 participants plus travel expenses.

The three modules can be delivered as one complete course and will take 2 full days (8 hours a day) or they can split into 2 ½ or 3 days to allow participants to attend to emails and calls if needed.

Module two
- Conflict Management and Resolution

Improving rapport is key to managing and resolving a conflict. In NLP we use techniques that compel us to step in to the other person’s shoes and view a situation from their point of view. This can be uncomfortable at times but it is such a powerful tool to really dive into the conflict and find new ways of managing and resolving it.

Suitable for any role where communication is key and particularly useful to learn to manage and resolve conflicts – within teams or with clients. Also an interesting course if you are looking to understand your staff and customers better and communicate and work more effectively with them.

  • How to build better rapport and techniques for improving it where it does not occur naturally
  • Matching, pacing and leading – a technique to influence communication and make it more constructive
  • The Perceptual Positions technique is very versatile in its use. It lets us explore our view, the other person’s view and a completely independent view (the Observer). It is a simple and very powerful exercise that helps identify actions to overcome the conflict
  • Chunking in NLP is used in many ways and in this module we will use it to find a way forward if you are stuck in a negotiation, argument or task and need to find common ground
  • NLP presuppositions (assumptions) are used to open up new ways of looking at a situation or conflict

Course takes approx. 6 hours. Price: £425 for up to 10 participants plus travel expenses.

Module three
- Goal Setting

Most businesses use goal setting as part of performance management and it is a great way to ensure employees, teams and management are aligned on the priorities and keep track of the actions required to take the business forward.

Within NLP the goal setting process is more thorough to ensure we understand why we want a certain outcome and what it will bring. By understanding this we can identify our motivations, ensure we work towards the goal, and monitor and correct course if something we are doing is not working.

Suitable for team leader and senior management roles. Suitable for individual high performers who take goal setting and career management seriously. Also suitable for HR roles to improve performance and talent management progress and tools.

Course content:
  • Chunking in NLP is used in many ways and in this module we will use it to understand why we want certain things and what it will bring us if we achieve it. We also use Chunking to identify what is needed to achieve a certain goal and generate a detailed action plans.
  • The Wheel of Life model is used to identify and track individual or team goals, and it can be used for senior management teams to create a leadership wheel. We outline goals and areas of focus, rate them, understand they fit together and impact each other
  • We will look at goals in the context of how the overall company’s goal and strategy filter down to individual team and employee goals – and vice versa look at team and employee goals to link them to company’s goal and strategy
  • The Well-formed Outcome model allows us to go beyond mere goal setting into the actual programming of our minds to drive us toward our desired goal

Course takes approx. 6 hours. Price: £425 for up to 10 participants plus travel expenses.
